Kushal Patel



Kushal Patel is a native of New York City, growing up in Washington Heights. He attended Trinity High School followed by Trinity College in Hartford, CT where he received his B.A. in Sociology. Kushal has two Master’s degrees, one in Education from LIU Brooklyn and one in Global Sport Business from NYU University. Over the past decade, Kushal has been devoted to the growth and development of New York City’s soccer landscape. He initially started coaching youth soccer in the PSAL while teaching at Columbia Secondary School. Having won the SSAL in his first season, his school was promoted two divisions, finishing inside the top 20 in New York City high school soccer rankings. He also coached at the College of Mount Saint Vincent in the Bronx, NY. There, he helped re-establish the program and recruited the Skyline Rookie of the Year in 2019. He has also spent time coaching at New York City Soccer Academy and Downtown United Soccer Club.
Most recently, Kushal was chosen as a member of the United States Soccer Coaches 30 Under 30 program and was hired as the Director of of Soccer for ALBION SC Brooklyn.
